Red Flag laws, which give families or law enforcement a way to temporarily remove guns when they pose a serious threat to themselves or others.
Laws encouraging or requiring secure storage of firearms to protect children and adults by preventing unintentional shootings, gun suicides, and gun theft.
Getting assault weapons — weapons of war designed to kill as many people as possible, as quickly as possible — off our streets.
No one law can stop all tragedies, but there are critical, commonsense steps — with strong bipartisan support — we can take now to keep guns out of dangerous hands.
