A brighter future for all of us
What I’ll Fight For
Additional Priorities
-
Protecting public dollars is my highest responsibility. I am committed to passing balanced budgets, using tax dollars wisely, and bringing long-term strategic thinking to City Hall. As shifting federal and state funding creates financial uncertainty, I will act as a watchdog to protect city services, prevent waste, and ensure municipal investments always match our community’s needs.
Phoenix must remain steady, strategic, and fiscally responsible.
-
Education is foundational to opportunity, and while the city doesn't run school districts, I will ensure we are a powerful partner. I will strengthen collaborations with local districts, championing creative land-use solutions that benefit educators and working families. Furthermore, I will fiercely advocate for our arts and cultural organizations, treating them and our libraries not as extras, but as essential infrastructure. For a city of our size, we must properly resource the programs that keep Phoenix beautiful, talented, and connected.
Libraries and the Arts are not extras, they’re infrastructure.
-
Public spaces are the soul of our city and vital to our quality of life. As home to some of Phoenix’s oldest neighborhoods, District 4 urgently needs forward-thinking reinvestment in its aging infrastructure. I will fight during annual budgeting and upcoming bond programs to ensure our parks, libraries, and pools are well-resourced, safe, clean, and beautifully maintained. By expanding shade and upgrading facilities, I will protect our local pride and keep residents connected to city resources.
Belonging starts with the places people gather.
-
I support continued, strategic investments in shelter beds, rental assistance, and affordable housing to keep our streets safe and transition residents indoors. Because no single solution fits every situation, I will partner with proven organizations and maintain a flexible plan to pivot when necessary. To protect families from displacement and respond with dignity, we must pair these local efforts with regional cooperation across Valley cities, ensuring everyone contributes to long-term stabilization.
Stability costs less than a crisis. Prevention is smart policy.
-
I am committed to modernizing our mobility systems by balancing the needs of both drivers and transit users. Having supported historic transportation investments, I believe we must distribute funding fairly, so all neighborhoods have quality roads and reliable transit.
As we expand infrastructure, I will ensure major projects are planned responsibly, minimizing disruption to local small businesses, mitigating neighborhood impacts, and requiring robust, multilingual community engagement. We must learn from the past to make getting around Phoenix easier for everyone.
Transportation should make daily life easier.
