Harder Builds Strong Campaign War Chest

PHOENIX — Ashley Harder's campaign for Phoenix City Council District 4 continues to grow its coffers, demonstrating that she has the resources to compete in one of the city’s most crowded and consequential races.
Since launching the campaign last year, Harder has hauled in more than $273,000, with over $120,000 raised. The campaign ended Q2 with more than $185,000 on hand after raising approximately $35k during the quarter. Harder also invested $150,000 of her own money into the campaign, underscoring her personal commitment to the race and to the voters. In Q1, Harder was the second-highest fundraiser.
“Too often, races like this become focused on money instead of people. That is not why I’m running. I've assessed this crowded field, and voters are being inundated with ads, mail, and fundraising asks from candidates across the state,” said Ashley Harder. “I want District 4 residents to know that I am serious about this race, about competing, and about earning their trust. Our financial strength shows that I have the commitment and the work ethic to take this campaign all the way and deliver for the people of our district.”

Ashley Harder is an experienced business owner and respected community leader who, for 20 years, has advocated for vibrant neighborhoods, strong local businesses, and housing across District 4. Her company, Harder Development, transforms neglected buildings into bustling shops, restaurants, and offices while prioritizing community input and preserving neighborhood character. Serving on the boards of the Downtown Phoenix Community Development Corporation and Phoenix Community Alliance, Harder works to ensure housing development serves families, fits neighborhoods, and is forward-thinking. She is a longtime advocate for affordable housing and a strong supporter of human service providers like CASS and Keys for Change Campus. She co-founded the Treeo art gallery in Roosevelt Row and organized a groundbreaking mural honoring the people and heritage of Grant Park. Harder is a dedicated neighbor and advocate who will be a strong leader for District 4.
